Problem Solving Video Playback
These articles cover resolving issues with video playback.
On the Windows platform, if you install a recent update of the operating system but not reboot your computer, it may interfere with video playback. Please reboot.
Although I can hear audio portions, I cannot see the video in the Learning Packs. How do I resolve this problem?
Check to see if the Ensharpen Codec was installed. The Ensharpen Codec is installed during Revolution installation, however it is possible to opt out of installing this component. If this component is not installed, then the instructional videos will not play back.
Some versions of Runtime Revolution install the Ensharpen Codec Installer application, which will allow you to reinstall it rather than reinstalling Runtime Revolution itself. Check for this installer in the Third Party directory of your installation of Revolution. For example:
\Program Files\Revolution Enterprise\Third Party\TechSmiths EnSharpen Codec
